Chinatown Child Development Center720 Sacramento St. The Chinatown Child Development Center (CCDC) is a children’s mental health clinic and is under the umbrella of the S.F. Department of Public Health, Community Behavioral Health Services, Children, Youth and Family section. CCDC provides mental health services to children from birth to 18 years of age and their families. We believe that services to families should be culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate and we have a fairly diverse staff to meet the needs of the families. Our staff consists primarily of mental health professionals in the following disciplines: clinical social work, clinical psychology, psychiatry, and marriage and family therapy. The majority of our staff are bilingual in English and another language including Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, Toishanese, Chiu Chow dialects); Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Spanish. We provide a wide range of accessible, coordinated, and well-integrated services which meet the needs of the clients in the most friendly, sensitive, and respectful manner possible without regard to gender, race, income, or religious beliefs. These services include individual, group, and family therapy, medication support services, psychological testing, parenting workshops, and mental health consultation to staff of community agencies and schools. |
