Mission Statement

To improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and to facilitate their integration into our S.F. Chinatown community. To make use of technology to help achieve these goals.

History of Project

In 1996, members of the Chinatown community working with children and adolescents were recipients of the Daniel E. Koshland Civic Unity Award from the San Francisco Foundation. As awardees, Nancy and Peter came together to create this project.

Award recipients included individuals from Cameron House, Chinatown Child Development Center, Commodore Stockton Child Development Center, Chinatown Public Health Center, YMCA, Kai Ming Headstart, St. Mary? Center, Community Education Center, Wu Yee Child Services, Chinatown Community Development Center, and Asian Women's Resource Center.

With expiration of the Civic Unity Awards (5 years). A grant was obtained from the San Francisco Foundation to continue the project.
